Back to blogging... Dave and Kathy came down for a week and this is one of the places that we took them to. Had an exciting time at the Boat in the Mote where we ate..... or at least some of us ate... we had a man come into the restuarant yelling for someone to help.. a man was down. When I got there, he was falling again... for the third time... I caught him before he hit. 911 was called. Got some O Juice down him. It took the ambulance an hour the get there. I don't understand why Zolfo Springs wasn't called instead of Arcadia. Long story short, by the time the ambulance did get there he was doing a whole lot better. The restuarant had kept my dinner warm... and wouldn't charge me for it... they really didn't have to do that. I still wonder how he made out. Anyway, I think Dave and Kathy enjoyed themselves here. It's really a unique place... wouldn't you say
These were taken two days after the rains had stopped. Didn't have my camera with me when we went down the day after...duh. Anyway, the manager moved everyone up to the top for fear of flooding the sites. The water was about a foot away from the bench where we fossil. No way anyone is going into that water any time soon. 
It's been great knowing these two. I know sassy will miss ya too.... as she watches out for you when you walk the 'girls'. We'll miss you not being here next year.
Some of our friends that we are saying good-bye to. We leave here on the 31st for Orlando... Just noticed the dates on the pictures... guess I'd better fix that. They were taken just a few days ago... March 24, 2010
